Hello there!
My name is Chelsea and I’m the artist behind Shellsea Studio. I graduated from Laguna College of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in 2020. I’m a SoCal native currently residing in the South. In between growing my small business and traveling for conventions, I love to snuggle up and binge a good show with my husband and little dog Roo.
I enjoy using a variety of mediums to create my storybook-like illustrations from digital painting to gouache to watercolor to colored pencil and more. My favorite character to draw is one I’ve created named Ptorry! Learn more about him below.

Meet Ptorry
Ptorry is a heart-shaped lion plush featured in many of my illustrations and the mascot of Shellsea Studio! He loves to go on adventures and make new friends with other critters and creatures, but sometimes he runs into a bit of mischief along the way. His best friend’s name is Wug, a small and fluffy cat who is a dandelion fairy.
